Yes-I decided to go "no bow".  I considered a sash as I love that look on some of the other Mia brides but decided in the end that plan is just more "me".  I'm going to use the blingy pin that comes with it in my hair instead!

Hopefully I did this right, but here is my dress!! I can't wait to wear it!

I went to my first fitting yesterday and the dress fits better than I expected.  I can't wait to finally get to wear it, only 2 more months until my wedding.  Getting excited!!!

I've noticed that many DW brides on here went with non-tradional DW dresses. Same here! lol (Allure 8862)

 

Just wondering if anyone has feedback on removing the crinoline in exchange for a hoop to make the dress a bit cooler? Or any other suggestions? My wedding is going to be in July in the Caribbean...so VERY HOT!

I was sweating like crazy when I tried my dress on (such a nice visual, I know!) and they had me try the hoop on (which I was resistant too, initially) and it immediately felt like I had air conditioning on under my dress!  I was sold!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
