This is stunning. U made the right decision if i may say.

I FINALLY GOT MY DRESS!!!!!!!!! For those of you who dont know the story.... i bought this dress without trying it on. I fell in love with it online and couldnt get it out of my head. Nowhere in my city had it. I actually purchase another dress but after a week (of regret i might add) i found out that the deposit didn't actually go through (yay!) So in the end after trying on countless Maggies and camparing it all to this one I took a leap of faith and bought my Maggie. I came in today... i got the phone call and left work to go try it on! LOL. I love it and its all i hoped it would be. LL The top layer in this pic desperately needs to to be pressed but im also taking out that top layer  and taking the lace edge down to the loger second layer just to make sure it all lays nicely flat

Got my dress. Its a convertible, which is what sold me. 2 for the price of 1! Its being slightly altered. I am getting it made into a slight sweetheart, having it bustled and having our wedding date embroidered in blue. Can't wait to get it back. Now I need to figure out shoes...

I like no sash- from the pics, the dress defines your waist beautifully and shows off a gorgeous hour glass figure. The sash almost makes the dress look straight  (could be the angle of the pic tho). Without the sash, the dress flows from bust to floor with no interruption. If you want some added sparkle, maybe wear a blingy cuff and drop earrings.

cathedral veil and sash!!! looks beautiful hun

Beautiful dress! Can't wait to see a photo of you in it!

LL LL Unfortunately I don't have a picture of me in it yet, but this is the dress I picked. NOTHING like what I wanted, walked right past it in the salon! I always envisioned something lacy, but felt great in this one. It looks a lot better on me than on the model (I believe, not to sound vain!) because she's so skinny. But I worry, I didn't want to get a dress that looked sort of like a nightgown? If you know what I mean?

I am so elated I cannot contain myself. Dress regret is gone! Any ladies with dress regret- go try your dress on again. It really is a different experience than looking at a picture or seeing it on a hanger. Yesterday was my first fitting and we killed two birds with one stone by attending a veil and headpiece trunk show. I tried on my dress to make sure it fit (WOOOOW was it tight and HEAVY!...I have to lose about 5 pounds to be comfortable in it. It fits- but I can't sit comfortably in it). The sample wasn't heavy because it wasn't my correct size so it was just hanging but my actual dress- I think might weigh 10 pounds. I did not know it would be that heavy I will probably melt in July. That wasn't too well thought out but I guess you only have one wedding LOL For the veil and headpiece show, I put the sample on so I wouldn't ruin my dress. I went with a cathedral veil with a rhinestone trim. I got a separate headband so I can take the veil off for my reception.

Originally I wanted to wear chandelier earrings and a teardrop necklace, but because I have a lot going on- I will probably wear simple pearl drop earrings and no necklace at all. You cant tell, but my dress has some pearl accents on the straps and on the bottom. I also decided to forego these ultra blinged out shoes I wanted. I am going to go with a plain pair of shoes- besides NO ONE can see my shoes under this thing. I was walking around in tube socks in these pictures lol. woot.gifGoing to my fitting made me super amped about the wedding! All I need to do is add cups to the dress because I can't wear a bra since the back is cut slightly below the bra strap.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
