This site has been helpful in so many ways for me.....thought I would try my luck and see if any of you could help me out with trying to figure out who the designer is for this dress?!  :)  Any ideas?

This is a tough one, as I can only find it on knock off websites: http://www.99dress.com/big-breasted-alineprincess-strapless-chapel-simple-strapless-bridal-gown-3aa0485-white-and-black-p-4162.html

@EmilyT...I LOVE this dress!! Very beautiful...subtle yet so dramatic. I personally like the birdcage veil better. BUT I like the long one too. And the long veil would look amazing in pics. I've seen pics where they hold veil up and then let it go and it looks like it's blowing and its amazing. I actually want a long veil just to do that one pic. hahaha.

You could wear long for ceremony and some pics and then do the birdcage for reception. OR just do the birdcage. :-)

I am wearing a long veil for the same reason - I want that amazing photo with the veil blowing!

Alright ladies, a couple months ago I posted a couple pictures asking for advice (rather, confirmation) about which dress to buy... I got to pick it up Thursday! (Yes, the one everyone, and me, said was best!)

I found a picture of it on the model.

So now I am wondering about my hair. I have short hair I am planning on curling... My hair is very thin, but I like it curled. I was planning on a hair flower I have made... and I am wondering about a birdcage veil too, just for the ceremony and some pictures. Do you think just a flower, or a flower with a birdcage?

A friend said she thought the birdcage might be more vintage-y, not flowy and beachy like the dress.

Thoughts?

I love the shorter veil. I think the beautiful lace of your dress competes too much with the long laced veil.

I like no sash- from the pics, the dress defines your waist beautifully and shows off a gorgeous hour glass figure. The sash almost makes the dress look straight  (could be the angle of the pic tho). Without the sash, the dress flows from bust to floor with no interruption. If you want some added sparkle, maybe wear a blingy cuff and drop earrings.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
