Thanks ladies for all of the love!

I was nervous about the long veil also for the same reasons but I found a whole thread dedicated to long veils on the forums which made me feel better:

hopefully this helps! I am going to wear mine for the ceremony only then have a flower for the reception.

Well, I really want to thank everyone for their opinions...

Last night I went and bought dress #1! I could have walked out of the store with it right then and there, but they were out of cloth garment bags (only had clear ones), but they are getting them in soon, so the lady said I could leave it there and come get it when the cloth ones come in - about a week or two. I figured it would be easier to hide in the house when FI is very curious! Not to mention, for travel.

SO excited! Thanks for all the kind comments ladies!

Now the goal is to lose a bit of weight so I do not have to have the panel in the back moved. :)

I don't regret lace whatsoever! It's classy & elegant! I wasn't hot in it, at all. I only had 2 layers of tulle, it had 2 extra when I first purchased it. Toward the end of the night with all the dancing and all, it did start getting a bit warm down under lol. but lucky me got her cycle the 2 days before the wedding =/ so my body temp might've been off. ALSO, I applied lotsa kama sutra suckling honey dust powder :) smells delish! Plus, I couldn't bustle the back- no one knew were the hooks were at and another might've ripped somewhere. So the weight of the dress might've added to the heat.

Thank you for your kind words!

Okay Ladies.. I'm beginning to have a slight case of dress regret.. :o( I found a dress I LOVED, Allure 8862, but the bridal store was rude so I went other places ISO this dress and to try on others.. then I found a dress that I thought was gorgeous but daring for me.   I wasn't sure about it at first but my FMIL told me it looked amazing on me and after trying it on a 2nd time I was sold. Bought the dress on the spot and took it home with me. I posted it several pages ago.. But over the weekend my FI's step-mom and dad wanted to see my dress, so I showed them a picture.. I think they said it was pretty, but I can't even remember, all I can remember is they asked why I didn't go with the Allure 8862 when I showed them the pictures of both.msncry.gif

I have the dress at home so I'm wondering if trying it on for my mom and my bridesmaids will make me feel better.. but I'm so torn now and feel like I may have made the wrong decision. :o(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
