Thanks so much!!! I love it more now than I did when I first put it on!

It's Maggie Sottero Adorae... I'm not wearing heels because I don't want it to drag for the ceremony (and look to long in the pictures) just so I can wear heels at the reception (and I'll prob end up in flip flops during the reception anyway!) The bridal salon I got it from suggested I order a petite.. I was so nervous!!!  I'm 5'5 and am wearing a 1 inch wedge/heel of some sort.  It's the perfect length, I'm so glad they suggested a petite instead of cutting 6 inches off the bottom!!

(If any of you take that suggestion, I tried on a petite Maggie dress they had in stock to be sure it would work)

I wore the Sottero Midgley Adorae as well on my wedding day! I am only 5'3" and new I would be wearing heels for the reception so I found great wedges that worked well in the sand because I got it hemmed for the reception length. I asked my salon if I should order the petite and they advised against it since they said it would be better to have to take the hem up than for it to be too short. If your petite length fits a 5'5" inches plus 1 each heel, Im glad I ordered mine in the regular length since I wore 4 inch heels! I had always wondered if I should have gotten the petite, but now I know! Are you getting a bustle put in? I got a 5 point french bustle put in.

I thought it looked familiar.  I totally tried on that dress and loved it, but it didn't look half as good on me as it does on you!   I love it!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
