This is natural.. should i order natural or white?

I've been trying to decide the same thing. That dress looks pretty white though, how much brighter is the "white" as opposed to the "natural" - can you post a picture of both maybe??

The lady at the bridal salon was definitely trying to steer me toward a less "bright white", I can't remember exactly why she said this, maybe because it can wash you out if you have blonde hair or something ~ but I plan on having a very nice tan by my wedding day so I'm not really worried about that.

They didnt have the dress in white.. so i havent been able to see it. They just brought over another dress in white to show me the color. Most people say to go with the natural so it doesnt wash me out. And apparently the natural is supposed to look better in photos.. I read that on a photographers website somewhere. But like you i intend on having a good tan by then... oh the decisions....

just my opinion - most of your guests won't be able to tell the difference between white and ivory (or natural). and most people do look better in the ivory, regardless of whether or not they tanned. When I was trying on dresses, there was a gorgeous Indian girl with dark skin trying on dresses. the ivory was incredibly beautiful on her. she was insistent on the white - which also looked pretty (she could have worn a paper sack and been drop dead beautiful!). the difference when I was watching her was that in the ivory, I saw a beautiful girl, and then a beautiful dress. In the white dress, I saw the dress first, and then the girl. again...just my opinion. good luck with your choices!!!

Kristi-  I also tried that dress and and fell in love with the back.  I think that it will be gorgeous as you walk down the aisle.  I too purchased a Mikaella and here is my insight.  Their white is not a true white but is a couple shades off.  However, I too have been told that the natural looks better on almost everyone and does photograph better.  I did go back and forth and ultimately decided on natural for myself.  When I look at pictures your dress as well as my own definitely still looks white.  Either way, I know that the decision can be daunting so just go with your gut!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
