Congrats for being another E of A bride! Your dress is gorgeous! I originally thought I wanted something with ruffles but I found out I'm too short for them. They make me look more like a midget. LOL. When does it come in? I got a call this weekend saying my dress was in so I'll be posting pics of it soon! I'm super excited...it's been 6 months!

My honest thoughts are you're the bride and it's your dress!!!! If that is the one you love, then you should wear it and be beautiful! I'm a huge Essence of Australia fan! Their dresses are even prettier in person! Track down this dress to a local shop and go try it on. If you feel beautiful in it, go for it! If there is anything that should be 100% your decision, it is definitely the dress.

You look amazing and your pictures are beautiful!

I did the same thing. I said I did not want a lot of lace, tulle, beading/ crystals. I wanted simple. I was so wrong! None of the other dresses we pulled had anything on the one I bought. The consultant told me 70% of brides end up in a different dress than they envisioned.

My dress from various angles.  I went into the bridal salon saying that I did not want lace or tulle and I ended up with a lace and tulle dress!  I fell in love with it the moment I tried it on, although I still slept on it for awhile before I went back and purchased it.  I knew it was the right dress because I never stopped thinking about it :)

I just picked up my dress & have no one to share it with because they might mention it in front of my fiance! Love this forum!

It needs some fitting around the top where it is to big, but I love it. Now I need to decide what to do with my hair. Up, down, side pony, veil/ flower?? No idea - time to move to the hair forum....But I do love the dress! Can't wait until it's tailored & we are on the beach with professional photos! :)

Choco Taco - your dress is stunning.  Reminds me of Hollywood glamour!  Keep the shoulder strap!  It matches the detail at the bottom of the skirt.  So lovely.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
