I think this is the one!  Just 2 questions though:

1 - Buying the knockoff but does anybody recognize who the original designer might be??

2 - Train or no train?  It's not too long but I'm worried about it getting dirty in the sand and such....

Buy the knockoff and save yourself some $$$! I'm not good at this game but Maggie Sotterro?? lol

It's beautiful :D

Keep the train!  Even if you have no train it will end up getting a bit dirty - it's really only the underneath that gets a bit dirty - but it's not the sand, it's the floors and everywhere else you walk!  So you would have the same problem if you got married here!

I think the train looks beautiful on this dress and definitely wouldn't get rid of it!

Agreed. keep the train, it looks beautiful as you're walking down the aisle and makes for great pics!  you can always do a tiny bustle.  My dress only has a sweep train, and i'm bustling that immediately after the ceremony.

I am as bad at this game as Aphrodite so I have no idea on the designer!  I think the train is lovely and not too long.  Either way you will need to get it cleaned before storing it for good.  cheesy.gif

Beautiful!! I love it. What does the back look like? In any event, I love the flow of it and even if you don't lose the 10 pounds, you'll still look gorgeous in it for sure!

I was gonna say Maggie Sottero too. Lovely dress. And I agree with the others - keep the train. It'll look beautiful in pictures. And don't worry about getting your dress dirty. No one will be looking at the train; and it can always be cleaned after the wedding. :)

I know it's not a Maggie, but it's really REALLY similar to both Ireland and Athena, both of which are Maggies.  I would almost venture to say that looks like a Pronovias model...

Try to find out who that model works for in a magazine or online and then that would be your designer...I know Maggie Sottero always uses the same models....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
