Thanks!  There are pics a few pages back...  I'm planning on just doing a few orchids in my hair, side chignon (sp?), may even order real touch for these as I think they will hold up better.  Funny you should ask about wrinkling, it was one of my major concerns and one of the reasons I wanted a straight skirt without layered ruffles if you will...  I asked while I was at Pronovias and she said that it will wrinkle but they fall out quite easily in the humidity of the islands and to get it steamed once you arrive.  I plan on bringing my own steamer, she said to do it from the underside, never on top of the material!  Hope this helps!

Your wedding is before mine so You'll have to let meknow how the wrinkling factor turns out?! :)

Do you know how Chiffon is for wrinkling?  I just started thinking about that yesterday...wondering what its wrinkle potential is!

With only 135 days to go, I bought my dress yesterday. It's a brand new 2012 Pronovias. They got it in the night before, I was the first person to try it on, and they agreed to sell me the sample because I don't have enough time or order it in. I absolutely love it and cannot wait to wear it again!

oooooo...good tips!!!

I totally forgot all about my list of things to watch out for when wedding dress hopping...which included wrinkling material!!!  Glad to hear the wrinkles will fall out easily if they do occur...whew....and thanks for the steaming from the underside....I will have to pass that along to the resort, as they are steaming my dress.

:)

I will def. let you know how it goes...you may have to remind me  ;)  But would be oh so happy to share!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
