WOW! This is such a beautiful dress... one of the prettiest I have seen so far (no offense ladies, this one is speaking to me)

Who is the designer? Is it a Sottero and Midgley?

I am going to be dying.  I already posted my dress, it's a Sottero and Midgley like Amanda + Dave (don't you just love their designs).  But I went to running of the brides and got my trash the dress for $249 (It's Alfred Sung)

Beautiful dress Pam!! I love the ruching :) I was going to ask you to post photos in the Calgary thread when I saw that you'd bought it ;)

I am definitely in favour of putting in a corset back! Your shape will look amazing! But also, you won't have to stress about everything you eat/drink leading up to the big day. I don't know about you, but I'll be at my resort for 4 days before the wedding and I want to be able to it! lol

Pam I love your dres!!!!!

I agree about the lace up back.  My dress didn't have one but I could get it made with one so I did.  Definitely agree that it makes your shape look awesome.  In the Calgary forum you asked if any knows the cost, I'm not sure.  I paid $150 extra to get mine done by the designer and the girl at the store told me it was cheaper than getting it done after.  But their prices are probably more than other places (not at a bridal store)  If you get your alterations done at Connie's be sure to let us Calgary girls know how it goes, I'm thinking of taking my dress there too.

congrats!!!

Awesome to see the Calgary girls take over the wedding dress thread! Pam your dress looks fantastic it doesnâ€t look like it needs much by way of alterations at all! My dress has a zipper and button, I am with you on the look, but alterations because of that are ALLOT more of a headache and at the end of the day I dont think that it would fit the same way (I have 6 days at the resort prior to the big day!! and TTD session is 11 days after arrival!) talk about pressure, ha ha! Anyhow I digress, congrads on finding your perfect dress!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
