I was thinking of sending them mid-March (only because I don't want to wait too long to get new quotes from TA) but I don't know how long to give them to respond. I don't want to give them too long, because they are going to forget about it.. lol

 

The ultimate deadline for me to know exactly the number of guest is end of July , since I plan on ordering all my goodies and stuff at that time to give me enough time for shipments coming from China etc.

 

I haven't exactly decided on the final RSVP date to put on the invite.  I will likely be end of June to beat the July deadline to book.

Btw girls I'm going dress shopping Feb. 11 !!!! I'm going to try David's bridal, there are 2 stores location at 2 hours drive from my house on 2 opposite sides ! One in the US the other one in Ottawa. I wonder if the selection would be greater in the US store.... what do you all think ?

I'm going dress shopping on Feb 23! I actually have 2 appointments that day...one at David's Bridal, the other at Demetrios. I'm pretty excited.   I will have my mother and my bridal party (3 of them) there.  I think my mother is bringing my grandmother along too. I am a little apprehensive about having so many opinions at the appointment, but I've watched enough Say Yes To The Dress to know that I just need to stay focused on what I like more than anyone else.

yaaaay!! Well David's is an off the rack store (which I didn't know), they should have most everything in your size and every other size.  And if not you can order it, but they're super fast! They told me like 3 months and it was only a month.  I might have gotten lucky though.  Good Luck!!!

I have an appointment at the one in Ottawa on Feb 5! How exciting!!!! I don't know about the selection though...I've been to the one in Ottawa but to shop for my maid of honor dress for a friend's wedding, and they seemed to have a lot...it's bigger than most bridal stores cause it's not the boutique type!

alright !!!!!!!! Let me know how it goes hihi :) Do you know hor long they give for appointments ? And do you know if there's a limit of people that can come with you?

We were 6 with my friend when we shopped for our dresses...I don't think there's a limit! And they didn't tell me...I am guessing at least 30 minutes but most likely 1 hour!

I am also getting married in October 2013 at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica....ive been there once before about 7 years ago when it had first opened and it was amazing then, im hoping its still as nice!! ive been searching long and hard for the perfect dress and I finally have found It in a magazine...I called the dress shops to track one down and found one...  im going in for my first measurements and fitting this weekend... what do you think of it??

So it's 1h30 for bridal appointments and 45 min for bridemaids :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
