Fireworks - Cancun

Recommended Posts

I saw one brides pictures where she had the fireworks go off during their first dance. They were almost like tall sparklers? I wonder where you can get those? or who can set them up?

What hotels have allowed fireworks? We visited a total of 7 hotels during our site inspection, all in the Cancun and Riviera Maya areas, and were told unanimously that fireworks are not allowed because of hazard issues. Do you know if fireworks are possible at Moon Palace?

Thanks in advance!

Moon Palace accepts fireworks on their property, Hilda Arista at Special Events Mexico  has a great reputation with wedding coordinators in the area and clients,

She makes beautiful displays  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj1sCj3VDj4 even launching form the sea on board of a big boat....Fireworks always delivers the party mood

I understand that it is against the law to bring sparklers on an airplane (as we are traveling from the U.S. to Cancun, Mexico) since they are combustibles or firework-like....Those are 36" sparklers you can get that locally at special events mexico info@specialeventsmexico.com

Does anyone have contact information for ProEventos or any other fireworks vendor in Riviera Maya/Play del Carmen area?

how much is fireworks on average?

Fireworks displays for weddings at cancun or riviera maya goes from $1,500 usd up to sky....

Hi Wendy

We were in charge to make that display at Love Mexico event launching the fireworks on board of a couple of boats (the sea was kind of choppy but we managed)

I hope you enjoyed the show

:  )

At Cancun hotel zone most of the hotels allows to launc fireworks form the beach, in case that they not allow fireworls at the beach we hire a boat and do it from  the sea

My resort offers fireworks for the first dance, $50 for 2 of the tall sparkler ones.  I'm totally doing it!!  It's included with the 5 hour package, or you can buy them a la carte for 3 or 4 hour options.

Our price list says $375 for 4 units. Seems pricey!

Since Grand Sirenis is located 100 kilometers away from Cancun, most of the services are higher on prices  in that resort, besides problably the diference on price is the hotel vendor fee on that price......

The bad news is even at that price they are not taking care of the legal paperwork Firemarshall permits and insurance (when a professional company takes cares of doing it in legal way just the permits on that jurisdiction cost around $250 usd, kind of expensive but with the peace of mind included),,so be careful the quality of the fireworks

Good luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
