Well done, Joyce! there's nothing like a picture to tell it better than "a thousand words" can say.....hehe

I was thinking of taking a picture of the Walmart floral stand to show what it looks like - and now you've already done it, so that's one thing off my "to-do list" :)

Thx so much for sharing........and showing everyone here exactly what their floral stand looks like (well, at least on that day)  Thank-you :)

and here are some professional floral bouquets + arrangements........beautiful !

Yes..OR do as I did and find a florist wo will pre order your flowers by the stem. Then you get exactly what you want, and it is a FRACTION of the cost. This is what I did and I had TONS for flowers for really cheap. Cherry Blossom floral will do this for you, and they are located in playa. You can either pcik them up or have them delievered. This in my opinion is your best bet. No matter how much planning you do, your wedding is also a vacation and you dont want to be hunting around looking for flowers if you don't have to. Let me know if you want any pricing or thier information.
Do you by any chance gap have a price sheet for Cheery Blossom?

I'm glad that Joyce posted these photos.

I went to Walmart before our Welcome Reception to buy items for the welcome bag (Mexican candies and vanilla) and alcohol (non-resort wedding). I did not budget for florals for the reception but thought that I would buy flowers and candles from Walmart for some quick decor. I was very unimpressed by their floral options. I certainly wouldn't recommend depending on their flower selection for your wedding day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
