We used Gonzalo Verdeja of www.artncolors.com 2 weeks ago in Cabo Sans Lucas for our wedding. We were all very happy with his services. We felt he spent ample time with us getting the right shots. Our photographs turned out beautifully. In would highly recommend him for your upcoming wedding.

We used Ana & Jerome-  and westwoodian they are right in your budget range for photography.  They were fabulous!  They worked so hard on the day of our wedding, even my family and guests were impressed by them.  And they were so easy to communicate with ahead of time with our preferences, great with email and even Skype/facetime.  They also took the time to come and meet us the week of our wedding ahead of time to offer advice, help with our schedule for the day, and just get to know us.  We also used their video services.  Our wedding was just a few weeks ago, so still waiting on our photos/video, however I have no doubt we are going to love them.  We loved their style and all the albums on their blog we saw ahead of time.  Feel free to message me if you want more details about pricing, video, etc.

I though this may help some brides to decide about the photographer:

1.- Make sure you match your vision about your photos against the photographer vision

2.- the photographer style is part of the vision, makes sure you like the vision, vision is what he shows in his site, look at every single picture detail

3.- Usually all pictures in any website will look great, at least in sharpness, make sure the photographer is able to capture the environment as It was, and for me the most important, that it has a real moment and then It will be a time worthy picture

4.- After you have check at least 10 photographer wedding posts, then you can be sure you understood his vision and like the vision as well

5.- Go for price, can afford? good go next step

6.- Talk to the photographer and make sure you both click, for me having a strong relation It is important to truly capture real moments, worthy moments, pictures that will last, worth and be appreciated for ever

7.-Review all terms and conditions, this is just formalism but not less important

8.- Hire the photographer because many of them get hire really quick, like me

9.- Make sure you sign a contract, expectatives must be clear for both sides

Any question, pelase let me know, I will be so glad to help any bride around there

I am a passionated photographer that If I could, I would not charge a cent!

@@cassie06 I cannot remember the exact amount but it was somewhere around $300/hour which in my opinion was quite resobsible for the quality of work compared to others I have seen.  I would contact him directly at artncolors.com as each shoot could be different depending on your requirements.  I am sure you will love the results we did.

I was married in May in Cabo - at the Zoetry Casa del Mar.  The wedding was fabulous!!!  We used Gilda Badillo for photographs

and Arturo Sotomayor played at our cocktail reception the night before the wedding and then at the ceremony.  He was great.  We had Daryl Currie play during the dinner and then a DJ Ricardo afterwards.  Everything was spectacular!  Sergio Farais did the flowers and table decor.

Everyone was very professional - all my guests had a wonderful time.  Gilda is an amazing photographer and takes a lot of pride in her work.

The Zoetry Casa del Mar is a great place for a wedding - we had over 50 guests.  The food was fantastic!  The only part that was difficult was trying to get in touch with the wedding coordinator provided by the hotel.  It all came together in the end but it was a little nerve wrecking being so far away from the person in charge of putting it all together at the hotel.  The service and food at the hotel were amazing and my guests really enjoyed it.  If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
