I have gone to one where we had it also in a cabin at Lake Tahoe, did fondue, food, games and wine it was really fun!

Also did one at a wine shop as well and they did a full tasting for us (way more than a normal tasting :) I had them cater food as well and it was a ton of fun!

I don't want one either, but I don't think that is an option. Really what I think would be great is to have everyone over or out to dinner and drinks. But only my real close friends, cuz when there is more then say 8 people, you don't even get a chance to talk to everyone!

We did the pottery painting for one of my friend's and it was a blast. They let us bring liquor and food so it was fun. We did go to a bar afterwards. There is a place by me that does jewelry making and I have done that as well. The spa night could be a nice alternative. If you can all go somewhere or hire someone to come to the house and do mani/pedicures that could be fun, and then just have drinks at home or go out somewhere afterwards.

I'm so like you, that's not my thing either!

I did 2 things:

1. Slumber party with a few girlfriends. It was my first one in years and we had a blast eating, drinking, looking at old pics, etc. NO STRIPPER, I made that clear like 5 times. Male strippers aren't hot to me.

2. Once we got to Mexico we did a co-ed bachelor/ette party at a club on the beach. Instead of random men I was with FI all night and he was with me. NO STRIPPERS....haha Just eachother and our friends, we had a blast.

BTW, I'm not opposed to strippers in general, but what am I supposed to do with them? Save your efforts for someone who wants to be grinded on..lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
