My maracas (www.amols.com) came in yesterday (assorted colors) and I decided to use this cute stamp for the escort card (stamp from www.uncommongoods.com)

Last project of the day.. I am finally working on the fans/hankies for the ceremony.  Ladies will get the fans (www.beau-coup.com) and gents will get the hankies.  If they are a couple, they will be wrapped together like in the pic.  If not, the individual item will be in their bag with the little tag "bring to the ceremony".

My bridesmaids are getting: silk floral robes, chunky seafoam green necklaces for the wedding day (etsy), gold bangles (Forever21) for the wedding day, sunglasses and a tote. I have 8 of them, so I tried to get a lot of stuff that they could use again, without spending over a grand.

Did you get your Armani sunglasses on Groupon? I saw them on there and thought of that too...i freaking LOVE that site.

44 days until departure...WOOO-FREAKING--HOO!!!!!!

Where did you get your chunky necklaces from for your girls? I've been looling on Etsy for chunky fuschia/pink necklaces but haven't really seen anything that I love yet?

My girls are getting, beach bags (etsy) clutches (TJ Maxx) necklaces and bracelets (TBD) Sunglasses and sandals that they're wearing for the wedding and I'm paying for them to get their hair done.  I only have my two sisters and was trying to keep it at about $100 a piece but I'm over already, oh well!

I just ordered our beach flag!!! Since we'll have 90 people, I wanted to have a "beacon" for people to know where to find the wedding group on the beach. So if they want to join, they can...and if they want to be alone, they know where not to go. lol.

When my fiance proposed, it was a random Wednesday after work so I had no idea and just thought we were catching a sunset. We live in San Diego, so it wasn't abnormal. But there was a random guy walking buy on the beach who took a photo of the proposal from his iPhone! Afterwards he came up and was like..."I think I have a picture you may want". And holy crap, thank God he was there! Anyways, I'm getting it blown up on a flag as our "Wedding Crew Beach Beacon".

I also plan on dancing around the lobby with it while people arrive...I will likely scare some guests, but my wedding people will know what's going on. haha.

Hahaha you are too funny! Well if one of them misses their flight you can be first in line to step in! Hehe I totally hear ya- 8 is a lot to buy for!!! You still got them a lot of awesome (and reusable) gifts! Yes! I LOVE groupon, too!! We got enough for the guys, too. Pictures will look cute (or ridicukous?.. ha!) with all our matching sunglasses. I can not believe it's so close!!! My flight just landed in ATL and I'm waiting on my MOH's flight to get here and then my other MOH is picking us up... Let the bachelorette weekend begin!!!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
