And these are door hangers that will also go in the OOT bag. They are double sided. The pic shows both sides - 400

We are acttually having the shower at the resort bc so many ppl are already traveling and to have a shower here would mean even more traveling for everyone except me and my MIL.

That's a good idea, except for the fact that none of my darn family OR friends are coming to the wedding!  :(

Out of 69 people, 8 are my side and that includes my mom, dad, sister and sisters bf! 

 

Now I'm looking forward to my bachelorette party in Myrtle Beach in 4 weeks! ;)

Awesome Job! Did you print all of them yet? I read somewhere on these boards not to put the exact date on those b/c people will know when your guest are at the wedding and the empty room could be a target for robbers.. I never really thought too much about it but it just kinda freaked me out so I just put the June 2013 on ours. Just a thought if you haven't printed them yet!

Wow - that sounds very similar to me.  We have 60 guests attending, a good chuck are friends of both of us, however, I only have my parents, my 2 best peeps (and their spouses) who are just on my side attending.  Quite a few who never even bothered to RSVP.

 

I am not focusing on that though.  I am focusing on the 60 people are traveling to attend our wedding.  :)

I have made some progress since my mini-freak out. cheesy.gif

 

  1. Fi is all set with his clothes (he ordered and received his khaki slacks and shirt)
  2. I have ordered my dress and should have it around April 20
  3. I ordered dresses for our best peeps (3 are female, now need to sort out what the best guy peep is wearing)
  4. I ordered my maracas
  5. I finally touched base with the resort regarding the small details
  6. I the cake topper and cake table decorations (we are huge travel junkies along with a lot of our guests, so we found play airplane sets that we are going to decorate the cake table with and friends of ours found mini Lufthansa planes for the topper.  I figure since he proposed on a Lufthansa flight, that would be perfect)
  7. Found a small suitcase we are using for the card box
  8. Ordered cake boxes
  9. Started on the wording for the ceremony programs, menu cards, welcome letters, etc (need to finalize so I can use my VP coupon)
  10. Ordered the travel tumblers for the OOT bags, created the template I am using and have printed them.
  11. Found the actual OOT bags - we were going to order totes but found perfect pink and orange gift bags instead (love the dollar store)
  12. Started buying the contents for the survival kits

 

I still have lots more to do on my list, but it is a good start.  cheesy.gif

You girls are being so productive!  I feel like I haven't done much in the past few months so I'm not starting to panic a bit!  Are you all using a photo sharing website?  If so, which one?  I'm having a hard time deciding on which one would be best!

I ordered my bags on Friday but before I emailed them to ask if any coupons would be available.  They said no.  Then on Monday I saw the email and I was so upset!  I emailed them last night to ask if they would honor the coupon against our order.  Let's see what happens.. that would save me $80!

    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
    • So we are currently looking for an all inclusive resort for the wedding. We have 60 guests and found all the Dreams resorts as options and all of them gave us a quote and discounted price since it’s off season etc. Resorts in Punta Canta gave us a reasonable price, Dominicus gave us a really good deal then La Romana Resort and Spa gave us their regular price and so hard to negotiate. Will someone tell us how special is this resort that they won’t give us a good discount when all my guests are staying in their resort for 5-8 days. We are bringing $$$ in their resort and not give us a discount?  What is so special with this resort?  Can somebody recommend a beautiful resort?
