I want someone old and classic, and he wants something new-sh (like doesn't have to be last 5 years but from our lifetimes or something?) THAT HE ALREADY KNOWS.  It's really important to me that whatever we choose is still relevant in a few years so it's hard.  I suggested 'you are the best thing' as a compromise but he doesn't like it.  Any suggestions?

my fiance and I had the exact same problem. We ended up finally agreeing on a great song. "This will be our year" by the Foo Fighters. Its cute and it describes our relationship. It has to be the Foo Fighter version (its a cover of the Zombies song and that version is too fast)

I love this song!!!  One of my fave John Legend's song..

I think we will stay with Angus and Julia Stone's "Big Jet Plane".  It's a sweet song and when I listen to the lyrics and he says "I'm gonna take you for a ride on a big jet place" it makes me believe life with Matt will be an adventure.

I LOVE Angus and Julia!!! I always wanted to dance to their "Just a Boy" song, but we found a John Butler Trio song that is perfect for the two of us. But man...love that duo :)

I feel like I haven't been on here as much b/c I've been so freaking busy. I hope you ladies are doing fabulous. I leave in 2.5 weeks so between getting all the final stuff done for the wedding and making sure I have everything covered for work while I'm out for 18 days...I'm a BIT overwhelmed. Oh, and we're having poeple booking the last couple days. Crazy.

I keep telling myself to not get overwhelemd and just feel the positive emotions. When I do that...I'm in a very very happy place :) I just need to enjoy the ride as it only happens once :)

don't downward spiral!  it's what i do but it isn't productive.  deep breaths!  do you have a weddingwire.com account?  they have a pretty great checklist!  i have a spreadsheet with a to do list but it wouldn't make sense to you...it says things like "basket" "snacks" "pretravel".  Ha.  shorthand.

I haven't slept in two nights...zero hours...I'm SO anxious that I'm not going to get everything done!! I can't seem to catch up with myself even though I've been working non-stop on wedding things it feels like! My FI doesn't truly seem to get how much is left to do!! I've finally pinned him down to attempt to figure out music right this second! Lol!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
