What a cute card! Yeah I think i will still get him a little tiny something meaningful. I was thinking of getting his band engraved, but Im sure that would not end up being a surprise. Would love to do one of those boudior shoots but I am kind of shy and also feel like I am so dang busy until we leave!! Oh well! I will figure it out. Still just working on the mamas.
My fiancé must be related to y'alls! Lolol! "WHAT?? We have to get each other gifts?? Our rings aren't enough????" is what I heard! Lolol!

Question for you ladies...we finally got the grooms and groomsmen their outfits this weekend, white long sleeved linen shirt with tie for the groom and short sleeved white line shirt for the men (no tie) they're all wearing these pants http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/inc-international-concepts-pants-albert-linen-pants?ID=810402&CategoryID=89&LinkType=#fn=BRAND%3DINC%20International%20Concepts%26sp%3D1%26spc%3D25%26ruleId%3D13%26slotId%3D8 My question if about the dads...what are your fathers/stepfathers and soon to be FIL's wearing?? I know they can wear whatever but traditionally...do they dress like the groomsmen, or should they wear a tie (maybe different but similar to the grooms?). Should I have them wear gray pants also? I'm more thinking how will the formal pictures look...
The grrom and grromsmen are wearing whote panta and a teal linen, long sleeve top with the sleeves rolled up. We are having the dads wear the same white pants, like the groomsmen and a tommy bahama shprt sleeve shirt in the same color. The ring bearers will be the same outfit as the guys, but mini version

Woohoo! That's so much fun! My San Diego girls through me a staycation bachelorette on Saturday and it was awesome. I agree, it's so touching the amount of love you get and makes you so happy and appreciative of the thoughtful people in your life.

I fly to Virginia in two weeks to do my bridal shower and bachelorette with my hometown girls. I'm probably most excited for that one b/c it's the friends and family I've known my whole life.

So happy you had a wonderful weekend. You deserve it with all the DIY projects and thoughtfulness you've put into your wedding to make sure that your guests have a great trip. :)

I missed this forum over the weekend!  My first day at work since last Thursday.  Our beloved pet had surgery on Thursday and unfortunately passed yesterday. FI is devastated and so I am.   Sunday was my bridal shower and I had a lovely Fiesta-themed party.  So much love from my friends... really needed that.

My FI asked me if we could have a picture of Maximus at our wedding.  Of course, I said!!  I have to think of a very special way to honor him.

I'm so, so sorry about your pet. It's so hard :( you could maybe put a photo of him in a small frame and attach it to your bouquet. That is what I am doing for my grandparents and family pet that passed. I'm having a Fiesta themed bachelorette next weekend! My wedding is June 24th in playa del Carmen. So much to do in so little time, these past few months have really flown! again sorry for your loss...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
