How are you guys addressing your envelopes?

We are allowing kids at ours as well (especially since we have one! lol) and we addressed ours the first way: Mr. and Mrs. Adam Smith & Family I think it keeps the formal part of a wedding invite while still inviting the whole family. To me, the second option sounded like a Christmas card

Wow, this thread is intimidating! I guess I should get planning! I'm collecting stuff for my OOT bags, booked the photographer and have a dress. I'm wondering how far in advance people start shopping for wedding bands? I'm also under the impression the wedding planner at the resort will take care of the decorations, food, and cake, but is there more I should be doing? Thanks!

I printed mine on Avery labels but I also designed a background for the label so it wasn't plain white. They came out great and I got tons of compliments. I will try to post a picture later today. We made our RSVP march 15 bc final room payment for anyone in our room block is early may so I figure they will know by march if they are coming or not and I want to know ASAP. So far 36 ppl are booked.

Ok ladies... heres where I am: the follow are done: a photographer (Samuel Luna), a DJ (DJDoremixx), all locations picked and reserved for ceremony, cocktails, and reception, menus for cocktail and reception including cake, flights and room booked, dress, my FI ring, invitations sent, spa appointments booked, reservation booked for rehearsal dinner as well as a request for an actual rehearsal, invitations sent, 34 guests booked, a few things purchased for OOT bags, menus and a "thank you" that will sit on top of the menu card designed and project of printing and putting them all together in the midst of completion, and TONS of info saved on my computer about where to order certain decorations that I like and plan to make. Sounds like a lot, but i know I still have soooo much. Currently working on figuring out what to do for flowers. I think I'm really leaning towards making my own bouquets. Ideas/suggestions? (My color is purple) What are you all currently working on?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
