best of luck with the sky lanterns, I haven't heard of many places that will allow them due to wind and them trying to protect their resort, bhah!

We have handed out invites awhile back and so far have 23 guests booked. I have already bought my dress along with my fiances outfit. The bridesmaids have their dresses bought and they just came in last week! I am thinking we will between 25-30 when all is said and done. Thankfully I have a pretty good idea of how many people are coming so I was able to buy the majority of items for welcome bags already. I have also booked the photographer at the resort. I have also already bought the chair ties since the resorts are so much more! Our ceremony is at 5pm and I would like to have a cocktail after and before the reception. I kept emailing the wedding coordinator questions but I know that typically I won't plan the majority of those items 3-4 months in advance which makes it difficult because I want everything reserved right now so I can have my schedule for the day all planned out. Everything is adding up so fast and I have a feeling when I get there and go through things with the coordinator the cost will just keep rising.

Amber sounds like you got it all covered!!

I am waiting for the shipping of my invitations still, I got them made by a wonderful woman on etsy. So I will be sending them out next week most likely. We did save the dates as well, so Im not too worried.

I also just got my OOT bags. I got them from weddingchicks.com here is the one I chose. http://shop.weddingchicks.com/audrey-love-tote-set-of-20/  I wanted them to be reusable so didnt want a bunch of our names and date on them, but this one happened to go perfect with our colors and feel of the wedding.

Just wanted to let yall know they have great deals you just have to keep checking!

Also we are going shopping this weekend per my FI's request to Men's Warehouse for the groomsmen stuff....have any of you been able to find good things there? anywhere else you would recommend?

Also does anyone have any experience with myregistry.com? We are thinking of doing that instead of just one place and just wondered if it was a good site.

I feel like I've made some serious headway in the last few weeks!  Feels so good, although I still have so much to do it makes my head spin.  We registered, put together invitations (they'll be going out today - yay!), I put down deposits for our group flight, got my table numbers 75% done, finished my DIY aisle liners (tulle pomanders, they took FOREVER), got about 1/4 of my luggage tags sewn, ordered matron of honor and flower girl gifts, found and ordered toasting flutes, chose cake design/vendor and put down the deposit, ordered ceremony shoes, got gifts for parents, ordered all the remaining items for welcome bags (except for the rum cakes, which I'll pick up there), booked hotel for our honeymoon...whew.  So much stuff.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
