Ooooh, I love the hanging arrangement and the things on the chairs, so pretty!! I think I want that!

She told me that with the IPOD you just rent the sound system which I think is on the price list as $180 per hour. I emailed her to find out if we could bring our own speakers but haven't heard back yet. I was thinking about buying the BOSE system for at home and then bringing it with me.

Ok...a couple of questions

*If the "ultimate" package does not include the VIP bouquets, then what is the "upgraded bride's bouquet" that is listed in the package?

*It is $180/hour to use the sound system for the ceremony. How is the music played? Do we need to bring a CD with our seating and processional music? Will someone be running this sound system to make sure the timing is correct?

Maybe I need to find a tech saavy friend who is willing to be in charge.

I think Claudia should just post to this site smile159.gif It would probably save her and us a lot of time!

I agree...Claudia should just post on this site. I don't know anything about the "ultimate" package, so I can't help there. The sound system (for $180/hr) does come with a tech that runs it. Claudia said that we could bring our own music or she had some stuff there. I would suggest bringing your own though...because you never know what they keep as a "stock" music selection. Better safe than sorry. When we did our site visit we watched two weddings and the guy played music as people were seating themselves, during your entrance, and everyone's exit. You won't have to worry about having a "tech savvy" friend for this one!

I didn't really understand why the package said upgraded bouquet either, if you have to choose from the same ones its really not an upgrade.

What about bridesmaid bouquets? I have 7 girls in the wedding. Any idea how much the bouquets cost outright?

I'm also wondering when a lot of these decisions have to be made. Any idea what can be left until I get there a few days before the wedding? (We arrive on Monday, the wedding is Friday)

....and I thought this was all going to be so simple smile67.gif

I'm making most of my decisions when I get there. But since you have 7 BM's maybe you should just verify with claudia that its okay to decide when you get there. Well it looked like the VIP bouquets ranged from 90-150, so if you got something smaller and less expensive flowers I would guess maybe 50-65

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
