Hi Ladies! I think I am going to have my wedding at one of the Hard Rocks but can't decide which one... punta cana, vallarta, or riviera maya???

It seems like packages, promos and all wedding related stuff are the same at all three. Can anyone give me advice? We are going to do a site visit to one location so I have to pick. Help please! (We are all coming from nyc area)

Thanks

Hi Ladies!  I've stayed here twice and just organized a group trip for 20 of my friends in August.  Very familiar with this resort and do believe it has something for everyone (unless you want a small intimate resort).  Let me know if you have any questions about the resort or doing a group block!

I'm trying to figure out what to bring with us for decor?. We're getting married at the Hard Rock in April 2014, and they've given us vendor info for decorations but they are both pricey. I know it would be cheaper to get the decorations here at home and bring it with us but will they let us use it? Will they let us set it up? Or will the resort charge us to set it up? Does anyone know?

You can bring your own decorations but there is a set up fee. Some things they will do for you without a fee (i.e lay out your programs) but things like chair covers, they will charge you a fee. At least that's what my wedding coordinator told me.

@@Lotty2012 oooo do  you have any pictures of your wedding? We have been to HRDR for vacation and now want to have our wedding there in 2016 but was trying to get more information. If you dont mind me asking how many people you ended up having and an estimate of how much the wedding ended up costing. Im trying to figure out how much it might cost us for 60 people.

Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated. thanks a bunch.

Tam

when booking under a membership does anyone have suggestions as to what area of the resort to book- we are planning a reunion trip... we got married in 2012 at Moon Palace- so we are used to big resorts! :)

Is there anywhere that gives you a little view of the ocean from your room?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
