2014 Hard Rock Punta Cana DR Brides!

Recommended Posts

I am strongly considering HR as my resort for my wedding.  I wanted to get married on May 18, 2014, but found out that it could only be a symbolic ceremony.sad.gif   I have moved it to the 17th instead.  I have gotten some good information from the resort.  What wedding packages are you ladies looking at, if any? What made you choose this resort over others? Congrats and Happy Planning!!
I chose to do a symbolic due to all of the paperwork that is required and just do a justice ceremony in the states before we leave.

My first post! We have finally booked for February 2014!!! So excited! Does anyone else have Mia Mendoza as their coordinator? I'm guessing that she is new to the Miami office as I haven't heard about her before.
Hi!! We are getting married on 2/21/14. Originally I had Mia. She was a terror to work with and must've gotten fired because I'm now working with Christina and she's been awesome. I've hammered out every detail except the menu! So excited for all of us brides. We are staying there for 10 total days so it's our honeymoon spot as well :)

Hi girls!! My fiancé and I are looking at Hard Rock for our 2015 destination wedding! We've looked at a few other resorts, but this seems to be the one we like best!

We'll have around 30-35 guests, and will do the complimentary wedding with the restaurant dinner. We want to have a reception though! Just curious if the free private events can be used toward a private reception? And if not, is the price outrageous? We'd just want like 3 hours to drink, dance, and celebrate with friends & family!

Also - does anybody have pictures of ceremony locations, decorations and reception locations!

Clearly, we haven't planned anything yet! So any help is soooooo appreciated!

Hi ladies! I was just wondering what rate you got for HR? I am looking into it for my wedding and will have between 25-30 people. I have only gone to a few travel agents but they all come back with $2,500 per person and I am not too sure if that is right as I can get that very same price myself online.

Thats for the info I am going to check out that TA as I am not too far from there and $1,700 is an awesome price!  I'm flying my photgraphers down  I only have to pay their fee $1,200 and they pay their own way. I get them the full day plus a trash the dress the next day or just a regular photoshoot :-)

Hi ladies! So just an FYI I recently needed to add more rooms to my group contract and I was told by the resort that once I went over 20 rooms that all of my guest would lose their resort credits. I didn't believe them so I looked at my contract and it was in fact written in there! So. My TA dealt with them and got it removed from my contact. The moral here is if you have more than 20 rooms check your contracts!
Thanks for this info!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
