Any information on your impression and pictures of the different sites would be great and helpful to all of the HRPC 2014 brides. Also, they both agreed that January is a pretty dry month for weather.

Congratulations!!!! I know both our weddings will be wonderful.

Thanks again, Angie

Angie, we handed in our request form for sites earlier this week. I will keep you posted once I hear back from them. Right now we have about 52 guests coming so we are hoping to get what we requested. We will probably just be arriving at HRPC when you are getting ready for your wedding!!! I am sure we will see you at some point!

I am a newbie to this site and this is my first posting. My fiancé and I are aiming for May 2014 for our wedding. Right now, we are in between HRPC and the Paradisus Palma Real for our wedding venue. This upcoming June, we are supposed to go and do a site inspection and make a final decision. I can't even tell you how glad I am to have found this site for all the information and support!

I was wondering if anyone has decided what they are doing for hair and makeup?

Congratulations @ksaeuong and welcome to the forum! Both resorts are great choices, that definitely is going to be a tough decision to pick just one!

For your site inspection, the Paradisus does offer a discounted site inspection package, (which would basically be free if you book your wedding with them), with 3 nights stay - http://www.paradisus.com/romance-inspectionfirstvisit-loveatfirstsite.php - You basically will pay for the inspection up front, and if and when you do book your wedding package with Paradisus, you will get a credit back.

"A credit will be applied towards the bride/groom's final payment on the wedding package selected. This credit will be equal to the cost of the site inspection package and limited to the value of the first 3-nights of their stay."

I hope this helps, let me know if you want me to send you any information on this further.

Happy planning!

-Jill

Hi ladies, I will be getting married may of next year.  Was wondering how you are able to do a site inspection, is your stay free or put towards wedding costs?
I asked the same thing when I booked my site inspection but thy said no. I am looking at another resort, Paradisus Palma Real, and they do credit your site inspection towards your wedding if you book there.

I called about this, they quoted me $238.00 per night for a site inspection. I'm not sure if the monies are put towards the actual wedding date, but I'm going to ask about that as well.

If you book your wedding there, the monies that were spent (up to 3 nights) will be put towards your wedding. Hope this helps!

Thank you, and thank GOD!!! This stuff adds up quick! There are so many things I want to add to my wedding, but someone else mentioned that its cheaper to add upgrades directly with the HR and not the Miami office. I hear they charge double, does anyone know if that's true?

Omg!!!! I'm so so sorry! I thought I was on the Paradisus Palma Real forum. The Hard Rock does NOT put the site inspection cost towards the wedding. (I asked the Miami office) I am doing a site inspection in June at HRH and PPR. Only the Paradisus does that... :(

  • 1 month later...

Hi ladies,

I'm currently booked at HRPC for Feb 2014, but we are finding rates way too high for our guests. We're flying out of Toronto... Love the resort but pretty sure I'm going to have to switch. Unless I just move to a different month, April or May perhaps? How is everyone finding the rates for next year?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
