I hope that you don't mind an active groom sharing in on the excitement! My  fiancee and I will be getting married at the HRPC on January 18, 2014! I have to admit that although we were first in contact with the resort in October we are just having our call with Jennifer this week. Our first WP left the organization and we were left in limbo although she had reserved our date for us. But we have moved on and look forward to working with Jennifer. She has been very responsive so far and we feel comfortable with her.

We have received prices from our travel agent in early December and they seem to be remaining consistent. We are coming out of the northeast so we expected it to be pricey. I plan to keep active here and my fiancee found a FB page today that someone mentioned earlier so we will both be researching!

Hopefully our call goes as well as planned and we will be ready to get things moving forward.

Hi Ktonder! If you go on the hard rock website they have the 360 view photos which are great. Also if you google it you will probably be able to find some. The resport is so beautiful i did my site visit in Setpember and I am booked for March 8th 2014. I lost my camera while i was there so i didn't get to take to many photos but let me know if you want info on a specific site ill tell you about it!

Hi KerriAnn5! Do you know where on the site I can find the 360 views? I can't seem to find them. I'm also wondering where we can have private functions. On one form I see beach, terrace, garden and ballroom listed. Are pools available too? Do you have any pictures of the terraces and gardens? I'm so happy to be able to ask questions to someone who has been there! Thank you for your help!!

Hi Kiki! I have seen both in person and the element terrace has a GREAT view of the beach. I went with the eclipse only because i have elderly and guest who can not climb steps and eclipse has a staircase. Did anyone send you photos of it?

I was able to get the eden pool for my welcome party, The eclipse terrace for my cocktail party and the ballroom for my reception. If you e mail your wedding coordinator they can tell you what sites are available for the day your getting married. I THINK there is more than one pool to chose from for your function Also, Here is the link to the site with the photos

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
