and this what my two bridesmaids will be wearing

This dress has quit a bit more blue in it in person.

Both will be dressed down without the jewelery and we will be on the beach and barefoot.

I do not have any idea what the groom and his two groomsmen should wear. I do not like the sloppy baggy linen, but I am not against a a fitted linen outfit. Suit? Black khaki? Shorts? Jackets? Vests? Suggestions PLEASE!

Beautiful dress and totally unique!

We aren't fans of the baggy linen thing either, its not my FI's style at all! Also, we wanted something more formal with no flip flops sort of thing.

I can't post what I am wearing just in case the FI snoops! LOL! But for the rest of our party....

the fiancé is wearing something very similar to this with a grey vest and pants and white shirt and purple tie:

and our guys are wearing grey pants the same as FI's and a purple shirt the same colour as our girls' dresses, without the vest. The vest style with no jacket over top, in my opinion, isn't for all shapes of men, but if the fit is right it looks fantastic! I have also told them that as it will be totally hot there we can casual-it-up a bit and they can roll their sleeves up, but I will be pre-rolling the sleeves so they still look clean! lol!

My girls are wearing this dress http://www.henkaa.com/sakura-convertible-dress-short-plum-purple.html#.UH12MmgTs00  In case my link doesn't work here is the pic as well. It is convertible so I figured the two of them can each find a way that best flatters them and wear it that way and be comfortable.

Happy Planning!

Love the BM dress! I want it lol. Where is it from?

For the boys I have seen some really nice looking darker colors in linen that look more dressy greys, blacks. Also you can do ties with their shirts. Love the vests above. For my guys we got all of their pants from H&M which I really liked because they were a bit more fitted than the more relaxed versions I saw online. I dont think they are in season anymore, but keep your eye out in clothing stores around springtime.

Oh what a great idea with darker linen, I never thought of that!

FireyNurse thank you! Wow that is a great look for the groomsmen, I really like the idea of a dark grey or charcoal color. With the bridesmaids dresses being so dark I think it would look a little more complementary than khaki.

And the bridesmaid dresses are from Macys.com. I wanted dresses with a print that did not look like traditional bridesmaid dresses We got them in three days, they are very nice quality. They look the same in person just the blue is a little more prominent.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
