then i saw this cake and kind of loved it! but its not ordered yet so thats flexible

Thing is, i saw this centrepice and fell in love with it - it looks so warm and tropical to me. I kind of want it "as it is" as i think its perfect. but i guess the pink and yellow might make it a bit random. i wouldnt have a pink tablecloth, i guess id go for white.  but where else would i bring in the blue (other than BM dresses which are already bought)

i just dont know how to pull it all together! does it matter if the only blue is for the dresses? im lost! thanks =)

You could bring the blue in with napkins, napkin rings, your favors, menu cards, anything else that will sit on the table. Or...paper lanterns, or other form of lighting? Do the have flowers that are that color blue?

blue flowers seem really limited to be honest and the ones that exist are a lot lighter. but i hadnt thought of napkins etc though so that could work, thanks!!

or a blue table runner on a white table cloth? but maybe that'd be too much concentrated colour in the centre.

i could maybe bring a touch of blue on the cake too...blue and orange ribbons with orange flowers. mmmmmm

i feel a bit overwhelmed!

hmm..this is a hard one! It would be hard to tie the blue in with the pink, orange, and yellow flowers, however the blue would look good with each of the colors separately.

What if you did the same centerpiece, with same flowers but different colors? Like keep the orange but do white instead of pink/yellow..

I don't think you need to add too much blue into other decorations. My BM dresses are a mint green, but most of my decorations are neutral colors.

Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
