Iberostar Grand Rose Hall 2013 Brides

Recommended Posts

Hello :)

We're planning on booking the Iberostar Grand for November 2013!!  We're just looking at all other options first before making the commitment.  I'm very excited about a destination wedding, but also worried because I'm such a planner and doing it from afar scares me.

We vacationed at the Grand in May 2012 and absolutely LOVED it!!  It's well worth the extra money spent from the other sister resorts.

Is anyone else looking at booking for November 2013 at the Grand?  Looking forward to hearing everyone's comments!

Getting married at the Grand Oct 12, 2013.  Like you we vacationed there in 2011 and loved it so much that that we are going back for my weddinggggg.  The thing with beach wedding is that you will always have people watching as we watched while there but when you stay at a place that has standards people respect your privacy.  I watched several wedding as did others from afar but if its outside then people will be there, they have it at a time when a lot of people are inside and taking a break.  You need to find you a good TA.  I have people coming in from all over we did group travel options.  I am my own TA so it worked for me.  Find you one and they can help you with those details.

Did anyone else wait a long time to hear back from the wedding planners there?? I am getting anxious as we both want to put our days off work in now...

It took about three days for me to initially hear from them but once I did it has been smooth sailing with every question I have had so far. I initially had to talk to Syrecka Janielle's assistant because Janielle was out of the office but both of them have been very helpful. She sent my response to my first e mail and sent me the paperwork to fill out to confirm the date I filled it out scanned it and e mailed it back to her and she sent my wedding confirmation a couple of hours later. I know your post was a little while ago have you had the chance to get in touch with them yet?

Has anyone else noticed that the responses seem to only be coming from Syrecka now and that her title changed to wedding coordinator instead of assistant?  Responses are coming a lot faster was wondering if she replaced Janielle or if they were both still working there.

I have a VERY important question. I was told we could scan our notarized copies of our wedding documents and send them in an email. Has anyone done this?

thanks!

Kfarkas26,

I scanned and emailed my copies and they accepted them. Let me know if you have any other questions!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
