Elissae's RPRM Planning Thread for April 2, 2013 - PIC HEAVY!

  • 2 weeks later...

I went onto vista print to attempt to make welcome cards, room key inserts, and gift tags but cannot seem to figure the site out. It looks like I need to order 100ish postcards or business cards for each order. How did you order your welcome cards and other items? Did you just order 100 some pieces of everything? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Marymack, nabateman, DVhtu!!!!  You girls are sweet.

Stephanie, Vistaprint is definitely challenging at first, but then once you keep playing with it you start to figure things out.  Create an account on their site.  Then keep going on the site and create things & save them in your account portfolio.  After doing that a few times, vistaprint will send you tons of emails with different specials/discounts.

The welcome cards I did were 100 - so of course I did not use all of them..but I got them for free....just paid shipping.  The postcards were 100 as well...but I am giving my guests 4 postcards per welcome bag so they can use them to write a note and mail!  The business cards require at least 250....but the gift tags are same size as business cards so I think you can order them in smaller lots of 25 or 50.  Keep playing and if you run into a snag - let me know.  GOOD LUCK!

More of My Planning Thread Continued...

Ceremony Programs

I am halfway done with our Ceremony Programs thanks to my BFF for coming over last night to help.  Most importantly A BIG THANK YOU to BDW bride, skp1 (Stephanie) with her inspiring idea.

Signage

My BFF bought me these Senor/Senora signs for Christmas from the Etsy website.  I will hang them off our chairs at the wedding reception.

I found these cute glitter letters at Michael's in their $2 bins.  I may use for table decor at the Reharsal Dinner or better yet, my BFF suggested we hang them on the front door of our suite at the resort.

Gift for my Mom who is my MOH

I bought this handkerchief on Etsy for my Mom.  The picture does not capture the colors well.  It is navy blue and the scroll is green.  My mom calls me Punky (from the old show Punky Brewster).

Continuation of our OOT Bags compete with tags

Here is a picture of our OOT with their welcome bags attached.  I love how the colors just POP!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
