100+ Wedding In Riviera Maya

Recommended Posts

Hello-

I am newly engaged and I am trying to plan a wedding for next October in Riviera Maya.  The wedding is going to be 100+ guests and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for resorts that are big enough to accomodate this number?  We would love an outdoor ceremony.

Thank you!

Hey Staciej,

Congratulation on your engagement, as everyone here as suggested some good resort who are big enough to have 100+guests. As a wedding planner in the Riviera Maya my advice to you is to ask yourself they following questions:

are you looking for all inclusive resort? does it have to be a family friendly resort? and what price range do you have in mind for your guests to pay for their stay? Is having a non resort wedding an option? these answers will help you narrow down some potions

Feel free to ask me anything and I will be happy to help!

Happy Planning!

Joyce

Hi Stacij,

I'm in the final stages of planning a large wedding in Mexico also.  We started with a guest list of 400 people, so a destination wedding was our only choice for natural list attrition.  If you haven't already planned your venue, I would be happy to help with some ideas.  We anticipate between 150-200 people for our May 2013 wedding.  There are some wonderful places in Mexico.  Both west and east.  Happy planning!

okay so what are you saying. That lets say I have 60 guests staying double occupancy. so, 30 rooms booked per night. If they were to stay 4 nights that would equal 120 nights then I could qualify for Free Functions????

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
