Your mom (who has had you in the nursery 95% of the time since you were born) is in for a RUDE awakening when she takes you home!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

not the best post for me to read, but I will remember that when I am in the hospital...thanks Sarah!

Dear Time:

I wish I could put you on hold for just another week, I have 10 days in which to do 2 months worth of things, can you please be kind and go by fast while I am at work and really slow while I am at home. Thank you.

Dear BIL:

Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of your death and it was tough, really tough. I am sorry I did not get to the cemetary, but Jennie did not want to go because she does not believe you are there and I could not leave her side to go on my own. You know I thought about you all day and I think we had a moment in the morning while I was drinking my coffee. I am not sure if you kept Ava from sleeping on the 1 year anniversary of the night you died, but it was kinda crazy that she kept waking up crying and saying "its okay mommy" so that my sister had to bring her into bed with her. It was a good place for Ava to be though, with my sister. I hope you know how much we all love and miss you. None of us can beleive its been a year, I swear it was just last week we were dancing at your wedding. I will keep those fond memories of you with me always and will have lots of great stories to tell your daughters one day.

Dear Boss:

I hate this job and am doing my best to get any work done when all I can think about is my wedding so please get off my ass and let me do the things I have in front of me instead of hounding me. Also, I need next Friday off, so when I ask please be nice and say yes.

Dear FH:

Thank you for cleaning the basement last night to get ready for your stag this weekend, but you need to get to the other things on the list I gave you to do because we have more things to do next week. I wish you had any idea how much we have to do in how little time. Why do men not get this?

Julie, Yesterday must have been so hard. I'm glad you were able to be with your sister all day. You and your family are in my thoughts.

Jules - I am so sorry for your sister and your family to be going through this - she is very lucky that she has you and your FI to support her. Even in these last couple of weeks of craziness before you wedding, you still manage to be self-less for her and your niece. I am keeping you in my thoughts.

Yeah, I love the kid despite all the weird things he's making my body do.

And Brian totally loves the fact that my boobs are getting bigger and bigger everyday. Ugh, men!

Oh I can imagine. Screaming/crying children are the one thing that really just drives me up a wall. I can't stand it. I have such a low tolerance for it. I seriously start to feel like I'm going to go crazy even listening to that for a few seconds.

I have this client who screams/cries as part of his behavior, as soon as he starts doing that, my blood pressure shoots up as well my heart rate. I honestly want to smash something. I have to to learn some behavioral exercises to control my reactions to crying/screaming.

Dear self,

You really do have to go back to work soon. Just pretend you don't see all of the babies you have to walk by every day; and just pretend all of your coworkers aren't pregnant....

Hiedi, I'll pray for strength for you too.

Dear Hubby,

I'm soooo sorry for chewing your head off last night but why oh why do you have to bother me while I'm sleeping on the couch. Yes I think its sweet sometimes but when you start staring at me and then start poking me in the nose just slightly...It bugs the crap out of me and you wonder why I wake up upset.

It's not funny when I wake up and you are hovering over me and sticking your fingers in my nose or ears or eyelashes.....

Well I apologize for my anger but still.......

    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
