Unbelievable! You are still in your robe! Although you are making chicken soup from scratch & dealing with mortgage stuff, I think it might look like you've been sleeping all day when DH gets home. AND, 1:30 is definitely too early to start drinking, even though it's Friday...dude, you're wearing a robe & drinking rum & soda. Jesus.
Dear Christa,

You have had a very difficult week with the kid, drug test, mortage, job stuff, DH attitude, fighting, driving, etc. DH is lucky you are not sitting on the sofa watching Jerry Springer, drinkinging straight Rum and laughing at yourself.

Please make sure to enjoy every sip of rum and coke and pace yourself.

Dear future SIL,

Do NOT tell me that you're not coming because your 6 year old son is too young to travel...do not tell me he'll "forget and drink the water and get sick" or that he can't swim or that he's too young for a Hep A shot. He dosen't need the damn shot anyway!!! Don't tell his 12 year old sister that she dosen't get to go to Mex because of him. It's you! You and your controlling husband are so afraid to step outside the box, why don't you just try to live a little?!? I am so mad at you for not telling your parents; I'm mad that I had to do it because your mom was wondering when I was going to ask you to be my BM...somehow I'm the bad-guy now. If you don't want to come, I don't want you there.

Dear future MIL,

HIS EX IS NOT COMING BACK. CAN'T YOU SEE HOW MUCH HAPPIER HE IS NOW?!? THERE'S A REASON HE NEVER ASKED HER TO MARRY HIM.

Dear future FIL,

I'm sorry that you wish the wedding was going to be in town, but its not. I'm sure you will feel differently when you're standing on the beach at Las Caletas with a rum and coke in your hand.

Dear BDWF, much better. Thank you!

Dear my precious FI,

I can't wait to see you tonight!

Haha.. I can't believe it took me so long to read through this whole thread.. Glenda and Christa.. you guys rawk! So funny!!!

Dear BDW,

Thanks for being there for me. My two best friends (and BM's) are now single so I don't feel like I can talk to them about wedding stuff.. sigh.

Dear FI,

Thank you for always smiling and running to meet me at the door when I get home from work. And for giving me a big kiss. It's the best part of my day, seriously!

Dear Stacy,

Thank you for getting me off the computer and out the door... I have errands to run, but number one on my list is peanut m&m's! Yum. Guess I'll be back in a bit with a similar post to yours...just can't help myself!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
