We booked HDC Photography for our November wedding in Punta Cana. Arnaud was always very responsive via email.  Milan was our photographer for the wedding and Carlos was the videographer.  They both did such a great job and were so great to work with the whole day.  We got our pictures and video back within 5 days and they all turned out better than we could have imagined! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer and videographer!!

Great decision we made to reserve HDC for our wedding this month at the Hard Rock.  Well worth the outside vendor fee!  All the great reviews we read confirmed and went beyond our expectations.  Arnaud was very professional, reliable, and organized, and Milan was great to work with.  He was very creative and did such a beautiful job!  We have so many amazing photos that it was difficult to choose prints.  We also received our prints and video within a few days after the wedding.  We highly recommend HDC!

@ jwaller - Congrats on the wedding and thanks for the review!  How long did you have HDC there for?  I'm still not sure if I should get the 5 or 6 hour packages and whether or not to get the videography package.  How long did you book video for?  Would you do anything differently regarding timing (ie: start earlier, spend less time for bride/groom prep, have them stay longer or shorter)?

I only did the 3 hr photo and videography package, just for the ceremony, beach photo session, and part of the reception.  I still got several nice pics and a nice video, but I wish I got an extra hour for both.

I recently had my wedding in D.R and joined this forum so that I can post my review about HDC. Milan shot my wedding and did an excellent job. I gave him very little direction (which is unusual of me) and he just knew what to capture. He also knew how to direct each shot and was super mindful of composition and backgrounds. The prints and shots were ready within a few days. I received many compliments on my photos. The quality and color of the prints were also excellent. I'd highly recommend their services.

We used HDC for our wedding at Now Larimar Punta Cana on November 26th. 

 

We could not be happier! The pictures are amazing, the experience was wonderful! We get so many compliments for the pictures. I feel we got so many pictures in such little time, all because of HDC! 

 

Our photographer was Nick (gosh, if I got his name right, he is Serbian). He is AMAZING! Made everything easy, seamless, professional and fun. We all had a blast and he captured our wedding to match our style. It was so much fun and the pictures were great! He coached us quickly, friendly and efficiently. And, very importantly, he got the important people in the party and understood "who is who". Amazing considering I only had him for 4 hours. 

 

Suggestion- Maximize your time, leave enough between wedding and dinner. Guests will be fine and wait. I would have loved to do at least 6 hours- 2 hours before and 4 after. If you can, book whole day!

PS. we got WBA pictures, photographer at the Now Larimar, and we were so happy we did not upgrade with them. I only got to chose 24 pictures and could hardly do so out of a 100! Most of the pictures came out weird. There were a few nice ones, so if you take the package, use them as well just to double up. Dont expect more than 3 good pictures out of WBA though. The video was nice.

We used HDC for our wedding last week in Punta Cana. The photographer did a such a wonderful job with the shoot and was very professional, even though I was late to my own wedding :-(

 

We chose the 3 hour package so we got photos of the wedding, the beach and part of the reception. I would gladly recommend them again!

Choosing HDC photograpy was the best decision we made for our destination wedding! They did an amazing job and were very pleasant to work with. Our photos are amazing! The quality of their work is exceptional and we have received nothing but positives comments from our friends and family. They are very professional and they make sure they get every shot they can. Not only did they do a great job on the photos, the video came out awesome! They provided us with a highlights video and watching it felt like we could relive the moment. It was beautifully done and I highly recommend getting the photo and video package. There prices are very good!

Hands down the best photography company in the Dominican Republic. We booked with this company online from Canada for our destination wedding in Punta Cana. Their work was absolutely amazing! Stunning photography with a professionalism that made the experience worth every dollar. We booked a wedding session and a trash the dress session and every photo came out perfect!
