Pre wedding invitation?

Recommended Posts

Hiya guys,

My fiance and I are looking at booking our wedding at Azul Sensatori, Mexico in April when it becomes on sale for 2014..Can I ask, is their a 'pre wedding invitation' of some sort I would send in April confirming the wedding/hotel/flight times etc just to give people enough notice to pay off the holiday for those whos budget could possibly be tight?

Has anyone done this before?

Congrats! I would def send a save the date out waaayyyy ahead of time, or informally email ppl/word of mouth. You could also make a wedding website free a lot of places and direct ppl there for pricing info or your TAs contact info. The more notice you give the more ppl will think about coming! Does that answer your question? Not sure if that's what you were looking for lol:)

Hey girl!! Welcome to the forums! And congrats from a fellow Sensatori bride to be =)

It''s a VERY good idea to send a "save-the-date" way ahead of time- For ideas & inspiration, check out the DIY forum & invitations/STD posts. We sent ours out 1 year prior to our wedding, with a link to our wedding website. For those who were interested in knowing more about the resort, they could see all the info on our site. For travel info- that you may not be able to include 1 year in advance. Travel rates only usually  go on sale about 8-9 months ahead of time. But, you can include information about averages for that time of year, a link to the resort's site, etc. I just finished my invitations and we included everything needed to book the guests rooms and time line of events, so guests knew when everything was going on. Are you booked at AS already? Once you are, I recommend searching for a reliable Travel Agent that's "GIWC" Gourmet-Inclusive Wedding Consultant" You get many perks for having your TA with a GIWC title- and they work directly with the resort so they get GREAT pricing for groups! Feel free to PM if you have any questions and check out the AS forum =)

 CONGRATS!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
