Congratulations!! I am very excited for our wedding at Iberostar. I am trying to prepare myself for little wedding decorations provided from the resort by buying and making a lot of my decorations and welcome gifts in advance. I understand the only documents required for a legal wedding in Cuba is a passport and visitor visa (as long as you have not been married before or widowed), is this what you understand as well? I have not been advised on if I can expect a typical private reception with dancing and speeches so feeling a little in the dark on how the wedding day will go. Will have to keep an open mind. How are your plans coming along?

Has anyone been married here yet? I am really trying to make a decision as to what resort I should get married at! I am looking at Melia Las Dunas, but I know this resort is beautiful as I know a few people who have been here, but I have no idea what the wedding ceremony locations look like or the reception sites. Does anyone have any of this info?

Congrats to all the Ensenachos brides! It's such a beautiful resort! We are getting married at IE in April! Would love to know how planning is going with other IE brides! And for those getting married there before us, I'd love to hear all about your wedding experiences! :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
