Wow I haven't been on here to update in a LONG time! Lets just say with getting a puppy, starting a new job, buying our first home, wedding planning, and the holidays we have been a little busy:). Not to mention 3 of my friends and my sister have gotten engaged since I have and I am I bridesmaid in 2 of their weddings so far!

Since I last posted I have sent my invitations out, almost finished altering my dress (future MIL is working on the bustle and I will post a pic when completed), got rest of bridesmaid gifts (necklaces & earrings), purchased OOT bag tumblers and bags, starfish for decorations, guestbook (still deciding if I like the idea I have, ill post a pic), 90% done with playlist, finished making my jewelry, completed the planning process with my WC, and had my first bridal shower before the holidays...

Crazy how writing it all out it looks like I have accomplished a lot lately...even though it doesn't feel like it! We have all but 3 people booked that said they are coming and our guest count is at 30. We are pretty happy with the turnout so far :). I will be posting pictures of everything new very soon..

Checklist for remaining items:

-Complete playlist, including recording songs & timing/making categories on iPod

-Purchase rest of OOT bag items (thinking..advil, pepto, sunblock, chapstick)

-Stamp or some sort of decorative detail for OOT bags

-Gifts for both sets of parents (still need to figure this out..)

-Wedding gift for hubby (thinking engraved watch)

-Find cute/fun bachelorette night dress

-2nd/3rd bridal showers (going home to have family shower and friend lingerie shower next month:)

-Get final guest list to WC

-Finish welcome letter

-Finish printed menus

-Purchase makeup & hair supplies (I am doing my own with help of BMs)

-Write vows (and make sure hubby is working on it!)

-Send out clarification of final details to WC (there has been a lot of back and forth and want to make sure we have it figured out completely)

..k I think thats it! Only 60 days to go!!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
