IBEROSTAR VARADERO 2013 BRIDES

Hi ladies!! Hope everyone is having a great long weekend! My fiancé and I are planning to have our wedding at the Iberostar Varadero as well! For the past 6 months we have been bouncing back and forth with DR and Jamaica. When we got quotes back they were ridiculously high... Around $2500/person staying at the Paradisus Palma Real - DR and the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites - Jamaica. But now we have finally settled with Cuba because its much cheaper AND because the beaches looks amazing!! I was wondering if anyone has a direct phone number / email to the wc at the Iberostar Varadero so I can reserve my wedding date of June 1, 2014?? I know that is still very far away, but we have other family weddings to attend in 2013 so we don't mind holding ours off until 2014... Gotta spread it out a bit so all the important ppl in our lives can afford to come to our wedding too! Happy planning ladies!!!

Hi Sagesma! Congrats on your engagement! My Fiance and I were looking at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites as well. The resort and weddings look beautiful... I received a quote to fly out of Toronto in June 2013 and the price was approx $1700.  I must stick to a $1500 pp budget in order for my guests to come alone (which is really important to me!).

 

I don't have the WC direct email or telephone number but if I receive it from my travel agent tomorrow, I will pass the email/telephone number along to you.

LOL I wish that it was this November... but luck for me its not becasuse other then pricing and the confirmation with the resort I havent done anything else.

Thank you so much! I agree, we want to keep our costs low so all our guests can afford to come. I think under $1700 is reasonable for my guests. I know i wouldnt want to pay over $1700 for an all inclusive trip! Lol!

I thought that too the resort told me that the wedding package prices that she sent me are only good until October, so I am using best guess and hoping that they will be close or 1-2% higher for November! LOL I guess we will way and see

No my travel agent didn't get any sort of confirmation number for the wedding date being booked.

 

I emailed my TA and she thought that it was a bit weird so she CC'd me on an email to Belkis and we were reassured again that there was no necessary confirmation number.

 

Did you choose 2pm? 4pm was the only available time for us.

Hi Ladies!

 

I heard back from my TA today about ceremony availability and prices.  Below are the prices she quoted for me for April 2013.  What you do think of the prices??? I though that they were a little high, especially for Cuba.

  Iberostar Varadero 04 April - 11 April Standard Room Total per person based on double occupancy $1190.00 + $280.16 tax   06 April - 13 April Standard Room Total per person based on double occupancy $1393.00 + $280.16 tax   *1 complimentary passenger for every 20 paying adult (the 21st is free), based on double occupancy, excluding taxes.   I was also told that the resort is in the prossess of revising their wedding package.  I am going to ask my agent when the package(s) come into effect tomorrow.

I have family in Toronto and I was quoted 909 plus 291 taxes I wish I was there sometimes its a little cheaper...

 

I also got more pricing from the resort today

 

Pictures 4 cuc each

video 150 cuc

12 cuc for each extra bouquet

6 cuc for each extra bouttonier

30 cuc make up application

50 cuc for hair salon

 

I thought that all sounded reasonable, now I need some pricing for decorations, I dont think that I want to drag it all down there with me, it makes for heavy suitcases LOL

 

The first time she offered me was 11am... I dont think so, so I told her that I would change the date to get somehting later so she came back with 2, it does make me feel better that ne one else got a confirmation number, I am keeping every single email I get from her and I will print and bring them all with.
