Did you guys or do you plan on doing this after the wedding...meaning a few days later?  Did you get your hair and makeup done over?

I plan on doing it the day after the wedding. I will probably not pay the resort to do my makeup, but perhaps my hair. I want to do a cenote underwater shoot, there are several cenotes close to my resort that allow this.

I planned on doing it the morning after the wedding..hoping that my hair/makeup will still kinda be in tact.

No I would think the ocean would destroy it, it's just sand and salt water. It really should come completely clean.

My husband did one the day before our wedding (I wore a different dress). I didn't pay anyone to do my hair/makeup. If you have a lot of lae or ruffles in your dress I would imagine that the sand could be harmful but a cenote is fresh, clean water so it shouldn't harm your dress.

I agree! I've heard a lot of ladies say that their dresses are even cleaner afterwards! I am doing a TTD, probably the day after the wedding.

I bought a second dress for $50 to use for TTD, and it's very similar to my real dress. I'm just going to do my own hair and makeup. We are doing it the morning after the wedding.
