I'm having the same problem. I've heard good things and saw pics and video on YouTube. The Ocho Rios brides seem to be few and far between. I've had one bride who I friended on Facebook that was very helpful. Go to the fb page "Fans who love Sandals Weddingmoons" and I think there's a travel agent up there as well. Hi ladies! I talked to my travel agent about Beaches Resorts also (ended up going with Royal PDC in the end). I guess it used to be called Beaches Boscobel, and she told me the company has spent a lot of money recently on renovations, adding a Pirates Water Park for the kids, etc. Maybe that helps a little? You can call her for the 411 (no charge), which might give you peace of mind. Also, totally recommend you have a TA book you and guests - she saved our guests a ton, we didn't have to put anything down to hold rooms and we get $50 back for everyone who books with our promo code :) So far, we have more than $1000 coming back to us to help us pay for our travel!

I'm glad 'm not the only one.  I am getting married there in May.  I'm starting to feel less anxious now that I have picked out some of my decor items.  I also found a bride on this site who led me to her facebook page.  She was a huge help!  Good luck ladies and feel free to pass along any information you get and I will do the same :-)

 I was married at beaches negril in november..here is an actual photo taken by the photog. We had an amazing experience with everything. They tried to make us do some cheesy poses but were cool when we said exactly what we wanted. They aim to please

I just got back from my incredible weddingmoon at Beaches Ocho Rios! I know it was a little frustrating during my wedding planning not to see a whole lot of pictures of actual weddings there, so for anyone who's interested -- here are a couple of mine (taken by the wonderful & friendly resort photographer!).       Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
