BARCELO MAYA PALACE DELUXE

Recommended Posts

I am getting married at the Barcelo Palace on July 8th, 2015.

Anyone have any information regarding the Mint Breeze package? does it include a particular colour already or can we choose it ourselves?

Are any decorations included in the package or is that all extra cost or bring your own?

I have read everyone's suggestions regarding photography, I am opening to "sharing" a photographer/videographer if anyone else is having a wedding there around that time.

I am getting married there May 21, 2015. I am working with Lilian and she sends me one step at a time. You will get color options for the chair sashes, flowers and 1 centerpiece. All other decorations that you would want (ie: centerpieces for other tables etc.) are your own responsibility or you can pay their prices for extras. Which co-ordinator are you working with?

Hey Cometgirl,

I've been working with Tania D. at Barcelo, she has been really great thus far.  I am currently on the step for seating arrangements and table set up in the banquet room.  We chose the Mint Breeze package.  I am kind of stuck on this step for now as I would like a final count of our guests before sending it off.  If you don't mind me asking, what are the price ranges for "other decorations" that you mentioned?  Also, have you reached the step to choose your bouquets and boutonnieres?  I'm a little impatient to see all these options!  No fault of Barcelo - I take ownership on this one :)

@@GingerBride I just sent off a rough estimate of how many people we will have (although we pretty well know now) and carried on through most the steps. Other decorations such as centerpieces can range from $30-150, Huppa's are a couple hundred.  We are just bringing our own simple centerpieces that they can set up for us.

@@cometgirl thanks!  I am thinking about bringing our own centrepieces too.   We won't be getting a Huppa since we are going to tie the knot in the gazebo.  It looks so pretty on it's own.

Good luck with your day as it's coming really fast!  I hope you enjoy and it looks exactly what you hoped for!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
