BARCELO MAYA PALACE DELUXE

Recommended Posts

Mu Wedding Day is for May 20 , 2013 :). People flying out from Canada, any good deals with Sunwing e.t.c our quotes are so high 1300 per person :( any suggestions?
Hi Karen, $1300/person (based on double occ for 7 days) actually is a good price for The Palace. I know 3 people who have stayed at The Palace and flew out of Toronto in the past couple of years and have paid $1300 - $1500/person through last minute vacation packages (and of course depending on the time of year they went). Have they quoted you anything through WestJet or Air Canada?

Hello! I recived a quote from westjet and sunwing but I do not want my friends and family to pay 1200 each. I have been to the mayan riviera this summer and I paid 1,000 with taxex included, stayed in at the grand sunset riviera maya platimun so i guess because i'm booking in months in advanced thats the reason the prices are high.

Congrats Karen + welcome to the forum! those prices sound really high.

I've often found Westjet fares online for under $800 to Canada. I've used the Westjet website, and also have had good luck with iTravel2000 and cheapfares.

Hope you're able to get a better deal......good luck :)

Congrats on your wedding date coming up! :) I am also getting married at the Barcleo Maya Palace. Has any other brides had issues about booking? The resort is completely booked and most of my guests will not be able to attend because of this issue :( I had to do things on a super tight budget and we will be going with the blueberry package and not having a reception there. We will be having a cocktail hour and then have a reception when we come back home so all of our friends and family can join in! We chose the blueberry basically because we did not want to have an after noon time. Happy planning :)

Ya I thought their photographer was not very good at all and was expensive! So I sucked it up and paid the fee and booked Juan Navarro. He is reasonably priced but his portfolio is great and he had awesome reviews on here! I think I only ended up paying like $300 more with the fee and package for the same amount of time (didn't care about having printouts, just wanted the digitals).

Congrats mrsnova + julie 1025! both on your upcoming weddings and choosing a professional photographer to record the irreplaceable memories of that celebration!

You will be so happy you made that decision every time you (and your friends + family) view them and revisit those memories!

Well done! wishing you smooth planning and the best ever wedding of your dreams - Enjoy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
