Thank you so much for the review! I am getting married on the Carnival Paradise ship out of Tampa for the 5 day Western Caribbean trip as well! We will be married on the ship in the port of Grand Cayman. I would like the Leonardo Lounge for the ceremony and Rex Dance Club for the reception because those look like the best spots. What did you think of those locations?

How were dinner arrangements for your whole party on all the evenings? Did you guys all get to sit together?

Did you or your family use the salon for the wedding?  I am just wondering because I know I wont be able to do my own hair lol

Thank you for all your advice and info! As I am sure you can imagine, I'm worried about all the things you were worried about too! Food, will everyone enjoy themselves? etc etc

Sincererly,

Constance

Your wedding looked fabulous! I am really leaning toward a Cruise Wedding. I just got off the phone with Carnival about pricing info. I am planning on leaving from a port close to home so it saves my guests from the extra expense of not having to pay for airfare. This is our second marriage and we don't have a large family and I'm just worried that not many will come. I like the idea of giving the guest the option to come to the wedding and not the cruise but I want everyone to cruise with us bc that will be the best part. How long was ur wedding in total, ceremony and reception? And for anyone that did not stay and go on the cruise did they kick them off right after the reception? Any extra info would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thank you for all the info. I am getting married in November in the port of Tampa on Carnival Paradise also. The pictures are so helpful as I am also worried about where the ceremony and reception will be, the decor, food, pictures, etc. It's nice to see your pictures and how beautiful your wedding was. That puts my mind at ease. Did you have flowers for your bridesmaid? Were you happy with the decorations for both the ceremony and reception? I'm just wondering if we need to make table decorations, etc?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
