I live in NYC too, and I found this map very helpful:

It tells you which Caribbean destinations you can get to non-stop.  The easiest to get to on your list would be Punta Cana, DR and Montego Bay, Jamaica.  My fiancé and I were looking at hotels in both those locations and almost booked at Half Moon Bay in Jamaica, but we ended up in the Riviera Maya of Mexico instead.  If you're trying to keep costs low, I would say skip St. Thomas and St. John's, as they are both very pricey.  Both DR and Jamaica are very cost effective.  Good luck!

We're hoping to get married in April 2014 in Antigua. We were wondering if there is anyone with any recommendations on the best places to get married. Sandals doesn't really appeal as it seems a bit like a conveyor belt, however we could be wrong. Any views would be greatly appreciated!

    • I and my partner are going to get married on August 12th. We met each other through a lesbian dating website. Both of us want that day to be a memorable day. We are in confused on which dress to wear for the wedding ceremony. Any suggestion on lesbian wedding dress? I prefer white, whereas my partner prefers of-white. Which one do you think will look good? Should we go for same dress or different one? Share your thoughts.
