Martha Stewart Around the Page Seashell Punch

Recommended Posts

Hello!

That punch is so cute! I wish I had it for you. I wanted to share I found this punch the other day at Michael's Craft Store. It has a bit of a shell look. I have been using it as a border for my reception dinner menu's. A second option if you don't find your other punch. Good luck!

Thank you!!  That one is really cute too that you found.

I ended up finding the entire set with 8 other punches on etsy!  I was so excited!!  Now I hope its not hard to line up, because I took a set back because it was IMPOSSIBLE to make it flow!!!

Do you have any tricks since I was going to use them for my menu cards and programs too?

Your so lucky you found the punch you were looking for. I've been searching for it and was so upset when I found out it was discontinued! I like the seashell one but I really loved the one with the starfish and sand dollars. If your willing to part with it after your finished, let me know! :)

Ya! So glad you found the punch set. I sure do love these things. I plan on making my menus in the next few weeks so I can have some better advice then. I've practiced on a few and I'm measuring the menu card to be the exact length of the punch so it all matches. My set came with the side and corner punch. I'm actually using the corner punch for my name plates as well, so it all can match. Also, I turn the punch over so I can watch it align with the edges and the previous punch. hope that helps for now. I'll let you know how it goes. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the tips!!  Turning it over is a great idea!  I got so frustrasted with the other set that I just eventually gave up!  I have the corner punch too so I was hoping to get it all to flow!  Would you mind sending pics when you get the menus and name plates done?  I would love to see how you did it and since your wedding is only 3 weeks before mine, I can make them after you do and still have time to make adjustments if necessary!  I will send you my email by PM if you are interested, just let me know!

I really appreciate it!

Hello!

I am about to finish using the all around page punch for my wedding crafts and wanted to share some quick feedback for you. Turning the punch over is a must. Only way to accurately align the punch to the paper and previous punches. Not sure if you are using the corner punch and straight line punch together, but if so, determine your paper size based on how long the punch is. For example, with the Martha Stewart Art Deco punch I am using for my wedding menus, I punched the corners and used the straight punch twice across the top to determine my width and then punched along the sides until I was happy with the length. It's the easiest way to determine your paper size because you'll want the punches to align well so it flows.

You can see from the photos below how I used my all around page punch. Hope this helps you get started on yours! Let me know if you have other questions.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
