    Hi Ladies,

Our wedding is next Friday August 10th, and of COURSE there is a topical depression that is projected to turn into a hurricane by Monday or Tuesday. :( I'm so worried that my guests won't be able to land. Is anyone else dealing with this?

Yup, I'm photographing a wedding on Friday in Riviera Maya and I'm watching this hurricane like a hawk!  It's supposed to make land fall on Wednesday, so I'm praying that flights on Thursday will be okay.

Those of us who live on the Riviera Maya keep a close watch on hurricane activity by checking this blog on wunderground. com

Jeff Masters will give you a lot of good information and explain the likely storm path and intensity.

Good luck to all of us!

Oh no! I hope the flights Thursday are fine too.... right now, I'm thinking worst case, everyone might be delayed until friday (which is when our wedding is). We would then probably push the ceremony to Saturday if we have to, but I'd hate to do that. I think we'll know more tomorrow and Sunday for sure.

lots and lots of positive thoughts that it either turns more north and avoids Mexico, or passes quickly over and there are no delays!!

just keep in mind, even if you have to push it to Saturday, you're STILL getting married, and it's just a little hiccup (ok a big one, but in the big scheme of marriage, it's a brief moment in time).

Thanks ladies, I am trying my best to be positive! I only go through brief moments of panic. ;) Overall, you're right, I'm there to get married to my honey. :)
