And @menryluvco-- these could TOTALLY work for a Vegas wedding. Martha also had this example, which would be perfect: http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/226949/scratch-save-date-how

Whoops, this is what I meant to include as the other scratch-off example that I saw on Martha Stewart:

Well that was pretty much the extent of my craftiness, and I have seen/loved the passport invitations other brides have made, but i didn't trust myself to do them all on my own. I found this site http://www.beachwedlockinvitations.com/beach-wedding-invitations-beach-invitations-passport-invitations-bonus-rsvpbr18790-p-1183.html?osCsid=812017e4408eb9619a8b1a4c94026d80,'>http://www.beachwedlockinvitations.com/beach-wedding-invitations-beach-invitations-passport-invitations-bonus-rsvpbr18790-p-1183.html?osCsid=812017e4408eb9619a8b1a4c94026d80, which has authentic-looking passports for a decent price. They're not as cute as the DIY ones I've seen other brides make, but there's no work involved for me and the price was right. I ordered 100, including tear-off RSVP cards and envelopes and shipping for $295. Should get them next week or so and I'll be sure to share!!

So here's what I ended up doing for invitations. Ordered these from Beach Wedlock Invitations http://www.beachwedlockinvitations.com/beach-wedding-invitations-beach-invitations-passport-invitations-bonus-rsvpbr18790-p-1183.html?osCsid=812017e4408eb9619a8b1a4c94026d80 and they came with everything you see pictured. I just had to fold these up, loop on the gold cord (arrived pre-tied) and stuff them in the gold-lined envelopes. You can customize these with any colors you like and can use a color photo, I just happened to like this black and white photo of us so I used it. They also offer other cute passport covers that are more beachy-themed, but I liked the idea of these looking like real passports.

100 invites + tear-off RSVP cards, pre-addressed return RSVP envelopes and gold-lined mailing envelopes + shipping= $295

Figured that was cheaper than what I could make them for so I went for it! The seller worked with me on several revisions until we had it just right and they were super fast. I'd recommend!

My tendency to go overboard is kicking in and I'm already googling custom stamped coins LOL

Haha I love it! Go as overboard as you want! Being a bride you have the perfect excuse!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
