Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Brides 2013

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone!!

I've been lurking for a long time and have been blown away by all the helpful advice! My hubby-to-be and I are agonizing about where to get married. It looks like its going to be Iberostar Rose Hall Beach, because it seems like a fun, pretty, and affordable AI resort. The only thing is that I am a little anxious about the reception site.  I don't really like the idea about having the reception at Tony's restaurant. I want something that's a little more intimate and a lot more beautiful. I'm wondering if pictures others have posted of their receptions at Tony's don't do the actual space justice. It's really important to me that the reception space be beautiful. Has anyone had their reception on the beach? Is that even possible? I suppose that any space can be made beautiful with enough decorative touches.... Help!

Hi CoEr! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I had a smaller, more casual group, and my reception at Uncle Tony's was perfect for us. The weather was amazing and it was nice to be "outside" to take advantage of the tropical environment. Below is a picture of our set up. If you rent out the restaurant, you can hang lanterns, etc as well. I know other brides have had a beach reception, so it's possible. I think the price was $45-55/person, but don't quote me on that.

So pretty!! Was it a private dinner? I'm the process of trying to secure a date for either February or May of next year, but it takes quite a long time for them to respond back, so it's been frustrating!
No, it wasn't private. We only had 15 people in our group. The restaurant wasn't very busy so we didn't even notice the other people.

Hey Everyone,

I currently have my wedding booked at the Gran Bahia Principe and am thinking about switching over to the Iberostar instead since I'm having a Hindu wedding and apparently GBP doesn't have a fire permit for outdoors and my ceremony revolves around the fire.I was wondering if anyone could shed some light as to what sort of Vendor Fees I should be expecting if I switch over, does anyone have a picture of the Terrace they get married at, and I noticed the Disco can be rented out along with a Bonfire. Does anyone know if the costs to rent these out and do they also include Bar Service? Let me know please! Thanks so much!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
