Ladies..Pick My Dress 4 Me!!!

Recommended Posts

I did the most common thing an impending bride can do...second guessed my dress choice. So now, I'm completely torn. I know its my decision ultimately and its a big one that I should make for myself. BUT I want to see what you ladies think. It will give me a better idea of what impression each dress could ultimately make. I'd be happy with any of them of the three, but its a three way tie right now.

The photo is of my original dress choice. Its chiffon, so lightweight. I figure its very "destination". The other two dresses are more traditional styles which I've noticed still look beautiful on the beach.

I'll post the links for the othe two dresses. The details are the killers. If you click on the smaller thumbnails it will blow the images up. I'll be getting ivory no matter which one I choose.

LOL! Life with the quads isn't much different from life with any amount of children. I do what I need to do, just have to schedule it in advance! For the dresses, they arent all going to be available in one spot to try on unfortunately. The first dress is a Maggie Sottero, and I don't believe theres a shop here in my town that carries it on the rack. The other two, maybe...I'll have to call tomorrow and find out. I haven't done much yet, just looked around online to see if I liked something.

So far, looks like what my grandmother always said was right. "Go with your first mind." lol. Gotta love them southerners.

OK, first things first... you have quadshuh.gif I noticed the four babies... but thought maybe you and all your friends had children around the same time. Quads... that's so amazing!

Next, you NEED to try the dresses on! Well... not true for everyone, but I had SO many dresses picked out on-line and when I tried them all on I hated almost every single one of them! Quite amazing actually. So, start calling around and find some shops that have them.

I picked #1, but I also like #2.

I do agree though that you've gotta try them on. I had my own favorite style in mind, but NOTHING in that style looked good on me ... so the dress that I bought is totally different than I envisioned, but looks fabulous on me. So, be sure to at least try on a few different styles to find thene that fits your body type best.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
