Some aren't so bad, but I know in a few of my packs that I did open there were at least 2 mini ones per pack. And those were a huge difference. I was thinking I would only need 30-40 but I still purchased 60. But if I need more I'll just use the smaller ones rather than buying more.

Hey Girls!.. Anyone interested in a webinar for Majestic Elegance??   If so, go to the following thread and comment with your wedding date and Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana. :o) I thought this would be a great way for us to get more information on our resort.

I'll probably take them off, iron them out and reassemble the bows closer to our date or once we get to ME. I'm thinking about emptying a plastic storage bucket and laying them flat since we have several months to go. I think they are made well enough that they aren't going to get damaged. Also, far warning the sizes vary!.. I had some mini mini ones, but thought they would be cute for kids, but soo glad I ordered extra.

I just got my fans in the mail and boy what a HUGE box they came in! I'm very happy with them, I just wasnt prepare for how big some of them actually are. I actually prefer the smaller ones. So glad I followed your advice and ordered early. One less thing I have to worry about. My next purchase is going to be some preserved roses from Save-on-Crafts.com. I'm planning to use them as decoration for the cake. Ill end up paying $24 for 12 roses :)

I'm almost certain the cake is included in the package.. I'll have to find the sheet from my WC. Maybe additions to the cake are extra, or bigger ones.. But I'm almost certain a small 2 tier is included.

YAY for your raffia fans coming in!!.. I too like the smaller ones, but I seemed to have more big than small, so I went with the big ones. Well some are huge! But I don't plan to use those few.

Preserved roses.... never heard of these... I'll have to go look them up! Are they allowed to travel across country? I knew flowers and fruits are not but have never heard of preserved flowers. 12 for 24 is an awesome deal!!. :o) I too want to decorate our cake with flowers and maybe those rhinestone bands.. :o)

Are you asking for hotel room rates? Or for wedding pricing? I say this because I asked my coordinator a similar question but in reference to the reception pricing. I wanted to know if they charged  children as adults for the private reception dinner which is $70 per person. Her reply was that kids from ages 1-4 were free, ages 5-12 were half price at $35 and 12 and up were considered adults and would be charged $70. If you're not having a private reception and are asking for hotel pricing, then I think they start charging children after 1 year old. I say this because every where I've tried, they have told me ages 2 and up are charged. Hope this helps (if it makes any sense) :)

Thanks for sharing!! Good info to know! :o)  We actually decided on the free dinner, made more sense to us. I was asking about the hotel rates, because mine said 0-12 for children. Spoke to my TA and WC, children 0-2 stay at the resort for free, and 2-12 are considered for the child rate.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
